nubia Z50 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 64MP 35mm main camera now official!

nubia Z50 is finally official and it is the company's latest flagship smartphone. It has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and a 64MP 35mm main camera.

nubia Z50 features quite an elegant design with a mix of flat sides and curved corners. It has a big rectangular camera island housing the dual-camera system. It also has a metal frame sandwiched between glass. A leather version is also available.

In front, we have a 3D curved 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 2400 x 1080 FHD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 1000 nits peak brightness.

Inside, it features the 4nm 3.2GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core processor, next-gen Adreno GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Thermal management is handled by its dedicated VC cooling system.

The cameras are impressive as well. There are only two cameras at the back sporting a 64MP f/1.6 Sony IMX787 with 35mm lens, OIS + 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 with a 116-degree ultra-wide camera with ring LED light, and a multi-channel spectral sensor. It also has a 16MP OmniVision OV16A1Q selfie camera.

It runs Android 13 with MyOS 13 out of the box. It also has an In-Display fingerprint sensor, WiFi 6E, 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, and USB-C.

The nubia Z50 is available in Black, White, and Green Leather. It will start to go on sale in China on December 23. Local prices and availability are yet to be confirmed. We will update you as soon as we get more information!
