Winterlands Subzero — Free Fire's latest holiday campaign
Free Fire's iconic end-of-year Winterlands campaign returns with Winterlands Subzero. The campaign aims to bring together Free Fire fans and players for a concert celebrating the holiday season by introducing new musical genres at each celebration.
Explore a never-before-seen side of Dasha, drummer and leader of the punk rock band Subzero, as Free Fire's Winterlands Subzero transports fans and players to music festivals and winter celebrations. In celebration of the holiday season, Lobby and Spawn Island will be revamped with snowy elements set against a concert stage view of the city. In the Lobby, players can also move to the iconic melody from Free Fire, blended with snowy tones and punk rock.
Special music event featuring DJ Alok and music-themed activities
Throughout Winterlands Subzero's musical events, fans and players can anticipate hearing Free Fire's most popular songs. In "Mix It Up!," a new event beginning on December 19, players can remix the new Winterlands Subzero theme song and compete for in-game vouchers by creating their own remixes. December 23 will also mark the release of a remixed sample track by DJ Alok himself, which fans can use as inspiration.
On December 25, a music video for the new theme song "Let It Snow" will also be released. The punk rock-style song, which features a female drummer, will serve to excite all Free Fire fans and players for the holiday season.
Social activities, a new map, and loads of event gifts
Players who wish to spend the holidays with friends and family can participate in a variety of Free Fire in-game events, such as the Friend Callback web event, in which they can rally their friends to fight alongside them and earn a series of rewards.
In addition to the festivities, Winterlands Subzero will see the release of a new map, the return of a special mode, and the introduction of a number of themed items.
1. New 1v1 Lone Wolf map
From December 23 to January 13, a new Lone Wolf map featuring snowfall will be available for a more immersive alpine combat experience. In this map, which takes place in an abandoned, snowy mine, players must traverse the wintry wilderness while battling bloodthirsty enemies.
2. Jump 'n' Blast game mode
From January 1 to January 8, players can anticipate the return of a 14-player mode on the El Pastelo map. In this game mode, players must defend themselves using only Jumping Shoes and a single weapon.
3. Festival gifts, event souvenirs, and rewards
From December 19 to January 8, players can acquire Winterlands Subzero-themed weapon skins, collections, and new key bundles, such as the Cannibal Havoc bundle, which includes a werewolf-inspired look changer that transforms players into werewolves during matches. From December 21 to January 3, fans can melt their old items to draw new ones for free during the Melting Vault web event.
